Roadmaster



West Nottingham Township is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Roadmaster. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 13-months experience in a supervisory position in construction or Public Works (preferred).

Candidates must be able to perform a wide variety of labor-intensive tasks in locations throughout the Township under occasionally adverse weather conditions and sometimes required to report to work during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the operation of light, medium and heavy equipment, coordinating and performing road maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, and routine vehicle maintenance. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and must submit to a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check. Candidates holding a CDL are strongly encouraged to apply.

Benefits for this full-time position include health, dental, and vision insurance life and disability insurance participation in the Township’s 457(b) retirement savings plan paid vacation and paid holidays. Salary commensurate with qualifications.

The West Nottingham Township Planning Commission has a vacancy that needs to be filled. If you live in the township and are interested in serving as a Planning Commission Member, please submit a letter of interest to the Board of Supervisors by April 6, 2026.


What does the Planning Commission do? A planning commission in a Pennsylvania second-class township acts as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors, guiding land use, development, and growth according to the PA Municipalities Planning Code (MPC). They prepare comprehensive plans, review subdivision and land development applications for compliance, and make recommendations on zoning ordinance amendments.
