West Nottingham Township is located in Southern
Chester County, Pennsylvania, about three miles
south of Oxford. Lancaster County, East Nottingham
Township and the State of Maryland surround the
rural countryside of the township.
Established in 1718, West Nottingham Township is
rich with history dating back to 1701 when a group
of William Penn's followers settled in the
Nottingham Area. Today, the Township has
approximately 2,722 residents and is part of the
Oxford Area School District.

other interested parties. The Board of Supervisors, or any other municipal officials, are not

|INFORMATION REGARDING REOPENING
The municipal building is open. Visitors must wear a mask when entering the building
and should observe social distancing guidelines. New permit applications
can be dropped in the drop-box outside the municipal office at any time.
Most permit applications can be found online.
